I guess it depends on the location. Like we're a fairly busy store, but I would gather less busy than most. Highest peaks have been mid-high 60 halfs. Typical is high 40s to high 50s. But most of our baristas know just about all our regulars and their usual drinks. Although given, most of them aren't that complicated, either.

Our regulars drinks are things like a Grande black Pike in a Venti cup, Grande Dark in a Venti cup with 1 shot and 2 Splenda, Venti iced Chai and a Venti water, Venti Mocha Frap with Mocha Drizzle.

The most complicated usuals are things like a Grande Flat White with 3 honey and double cup, Venti White Mocha Frap with Vanilla and Caramel Drizzle, or Venti Iced Coffee with a shot and 6 Splenda and cream. No stupid TikTok shit.

I take that back. There are a select few who have like a 6 or so modification order. But they're in less numbers than the easier regulars.

The only regulars I remember have pretty easy orders, things like venti black cold brew, doppio with 2 raw sugars and iced americano with 5 pumps mocha. They’re also pretty nice which helps me remember them

tbh i remember a lot of my regulars' orders but it's probably bc they come in every single day and i worked there for a year. if it's a regular who A) doesnt come in every day or B) you havent seen that regular enough to remember them, then it makes no sense that you'd remember them.

we have a regular who gets a super specific drink that’s not complicated but once she came to the drive thru like five minutes after we opened and her drink got messed up twice and she called my 19 year old shift lead a bitch and screamed at my coworkers then ghosted for like…a few weeks but now she comes every day and she’s so passive aggressively friendly and overly nice she scares us LMAO

we have a regular whom i actually like, but i’ll never forget how hard he vibe checked me my first ever day. i ofc had no idea that they didn’t charge him full price. when i rang him up correctly and told him “that’ll be 5.26!” he said “no it won’t” 💀

I used to work at the busiest corporate store in my district and when in DT had this one lady who’d always drive up to the box and say, “It’s Tanya” then zoom off to the window and expect us to know her drink just based off that. She’d always change up the way she liked her drink tho so that made it confusing. She once held up our drive thru for about 10 minutes having to remake her drink again and decided to berate us and call us incompetent. Now she comes to the licensed store I work at so that’s fun 😒
