Sick time question (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m thinking about quitting but I have over 40hours of “Protected sick time.” Do I need to use those before I quit, or will I get paid for that time when I quit because they are “protected?”

Sick time is not paid out unfortunately:( Only vacation time.

Put in your 2 weeks' notice and then call out sick for 2 weeks. Be sure to work on your last day to write in your 40 hrs sick time.
