254 partner here. I have never in my life been able to find a coffee drink that isn’t too bitter for me. A couple years ago I experimented with white mocha syrup and toffee nut but alas. Well last night my coworker made an off handed comment about how breve would overpower the espresso on a customer’s order and it gave me an idea. I tried a small white mocha with a single blonde shot and breve instead of 2% which is my go to. I stirred it in the tall cup (before putting ice) and then put it into a sample cup. It was pretty good and tasted like butterscotch. I could still taste a tiny aftertaste of the espresso but this is still the closest I’ve ever gotten. Very proud.
