Do I have to find coverage for my shift if I have a doctors note excusing me from work? (self.starbucksbaristas)

my sm is making me find coverage for my own shift after i provided her a note from the hospital explaining that i was excused for a concussion. i thought if it was a call off for medical reasons i didn’t need to cover my own shift?
