i like this! BUT!!! one thing to note. just a warning from my experience
if you want a promotion, it is *always* good to step up, show that initiative, go the extra mile, be helpful, and show that you can do things without a shift telling you! if you *want* to and the shift agrees, i think asking to run the floor once or twice is good too.
However, you have to establish boundaries. if it starts getting into that territory where you feel like you’re doing the shift’s job, like nobody else is helping you, like you’re doing all the work and you’re not getting paid for it? that’s when you have to reel it back in a bit. go the extra mile for what you want, but don’t do the job without the title and compensation.
