Very very long story at its shortest: my store messed up my transfer when i moved halfway across the country so it took me over 3 weeks to be put through. During this time, I had no "home store" so I couldn't do my trainings. Only got in for one shift at my new store so I asked for them to ask around other ones for shifts. I got a bunch of them at the busiest one in our area. Called my SM about transferring to this busy store cause ngl my home store is awful (my first day there everyone was rude af and stood around talking when i was the only one working), plus this other store is closer to where im moving. She said i cant transfer for another 6-8 weeks if i can at all (which sure, i just got there), but i have to do my online training during my shifts at this super busy store.
Not only does this sound disrespectful to the other store manager cause SHE has to pay me to do my training, not my home store, but thats also one person she'd be down if i was in the back doing training i could easily be doing at home.
I asked her if i could just do my training at home and she told me no. Is this allowed?? I would really like if i could do my training at home but I don't think I can. Can i call someone like one of the sbux numbers and ask them? Idek
TL;DR: question in title is all i need to know, all of this was just explaining
