Is it policy for you guys to have cameras on at all times? My store is implemeing it and i have a genuine fear of my own face, but when i vocalized it they basically told me i will get over it. Is there any advice on how to avoid it?

You mean the camera that shows your face?? We literally never turn ours on unless it’s a fellow partner in the drive thru we want to all say hey to! That’s so insane

Yup that one! We used to never turn it on unless its a regular and the partners were messing around and turning it on for a split second. We have been telling management how uncomfortable it makes us to have it on 20 hours non stop but they arent listening to us. Even being written up for not having it on.

we were warned that if our customer connection scores aren’t high enough we’ll have to turn it on. we all hate it and most of us are short so you only see our hair on the camera anyways

Why do they think this will help with customer connection. Do you know how weirded out I would be if I went through a drive thru and there was someone STARING BACK AT ME.

ppl can already hardly see my face, eyes included. I have bangs, hats and never stopped wearing a mask. It feels so useless to have it on. Its less of my identity though and more of my giant fear of seeing myself in any way.

You do not have to do anything you feel uncomfortable with. It’s literally in the training modules.
