okay i'm still kind of pissed off with this interaction. i was called into work yesterday because our store was short staffed. when i arrived, there were only two people working: the ssv on front/warming and a barista solo barring. ssv put me on front/warming so she could do the pull so it was just me and my coworker running everything. we're a cafe only store so there's no drive thru to worry about, but the mobile orders here are crazy, probably due to the fact that it's a college town. anyways, i was putting together mobile orders and handing them out and this girl comes up to the counter, glaring at me and says "UMMMM... how much longer is this going to take???? I've never waited this long!" I checked the ipad after she said her name. She placed her order 10 mins ago and about 8 other mobiles were ahead of her and cafe orders were coming in nonstop as well. I apologized and said we were really short staffed and that i'd let the other barista know she was there for her order and she rolled her eyes and sat down in the cafe. About 3 mins later, she hops in the line and when she gets to the counter she starts complaining again. I just don't understand how people think their drinks can magically be made in one second! it's so aggravating. 13 mins isn't even terribly long, she just happened to show up directly after placing the order. i'm so tired of mobile orders and entitled customers who think they're priority
