Question about covid and finding coverage (self.starbucksbaristas)

Last night I tested positive for covid. This morning I messaged my SM to let them know. They asked me to send a pic of the test and describe the symptoms so they could log it for isolation pay. They also said to call the store so they could look at coverage while I’m out.

So I call the store and tell the SSV. They offer to send me a pic of the schedule so I can contact people to find coverage.

Here’s my question: Is this my responsibility? I feel like it isn’t. It doesn’t seem like the protocol for when other partners have been out with covid. Should I worry about it? I already know the partners not scheduled during the shifts I’m supposed to work have other jobs/commitments and it kinda seems pointless to ask them.

Any advice is appreciated!!

Its so ur manager’s responsibility, not yours. I had it ab 2 weeks ago and all my manager asked was for a pic of the test and got all the coverage. Im so sorry thats so not cool i hope you start feeling better soon!

Thank you! I’m thinking the SSV was confused on what to do(he sounded like it lol) so I’m not upset. It just kinda threw me off.
