y’all i cannot with these customers. we have “Pumpkin Spice back AUG 30th!” written on our drive window and the amount of people who’ve read it and asked if we have pumpkin spice out is driving me insane. like.. it clearly says august 30th… i had someone be like “why do you have it written if it’s not back??” and i was like “uh.. it says august 30th :)) it’s just to get people excited”. i feel like it’s so easy to google whether it’s back or not. pls stop asking or wait the two days omg

we’ve gone through 2. my SM only let us open one bottle because we had a few trainees and we wanted to teach them how to make the pumpkin stuff before launch happens. we weren’t supposed to open another bottle but we did and my SM was NOT happy with us lol

yeah 1000% we didn't even give our SM a choice lol. tbf were a small café store (only 20 partners on staff) and this manager has only been here a few months so we shifts run the store for the most part lol. as soon as it came in the shift that was putting away the order popped it into a pitcher and most of us use it for our drinks now lol

I had someone in drive claim that their gf “saw it was available in the app” when I told them we didn’t have it available yet. We know that’s totally not true. But also, if it was “available” in the app, why not just order it in the app? The lies they come up with to try and get us to give it to them are devoid of logic.

🙄 I literally told her, 2 more days, and pointed her to the countdown we have that someone see on our chalkboard.... Her friend pipes up 'ooh ya we already moved the arrow to the 30th 😏 so we can get it today right?'.... I had to hand the order off to my supervisor cause I was about to start frothing at the mouth
"But you have some open on the counter there 😲"
🙄 Yes. For training. As an ex partner you know this. Besides, it's also been sitting there for well over 2 weeks because my manager opened it as soon as we got it rather than the standard 1-week-out for training.
People, especially entitled old baristas, really need to get over themselves and just order off the fucking menu
