The only time I complain about it is when it’s a whole essay and I have to completely stop my drink routine to carefully do each custom step which winds up setting me back a lot. Especially at night when understaffed, or when opening and I’m the only one on bar. During rushes it’s hard because if we fall behind our SM is yelling at us for drive orders when they get stuck behind a mobile for 4+ drinks that will have 6 customs on them.

That’s my gripe about it. Other than that I don’t really care.

they are annoying because they throw a wrench in my sequence just so they can make an entirely unnecessary change to the drink. Some of the mobile orders I've seen recently look like they just wanted to press every button on the app.

The ones that bother me are the ones that are ridiculously modified to the point you aren't even making that drink anymore. IMHO we give WAY too much customization option.

ngl i had a partner refuse to make the hardest, 20+ mods; added on at the window drink the other day.... a standard iced chai. it was the only item in the whole order. some partners just really hate bar. personally i only mind if we have anything more than 1-2 cars in drive and maybe a mobile or two, and thats just cus im a 2 month green bean and it throws off my sequencing groove.

They don't really bother me. They are very rarely more difficult to make, and it's not like they take all that much more time to make. Some of them sound disgusting, but if someone wants to drink a rancid syrup smoothie, that's on them.

Sometimes it’s constant modded drinks.
