Are borrowed partners able to pick up shifts at a store outside your district as long as it's in the same area?(self.starbucksbaristas)

Not worth it unless the store you go to have higher wages. Whatever the store’s minimum wage is for their partners is what you’ll be getting paid for. Ex: your store pays $15 and the store you help pays $13.50. You’ll be getting paid $13.50 for every hour you work at their store and not your regular pay.

I’ve picked up shifts waaaayyyy outside of mine. But it was for training purposes. Like I was being sent there not only to assist, but to help train baristas. One time my drive was 45 minutes.

Not 100% sure on the policy, but I was told that the store managers at each store would have to approve it. Since it’s outside of the district, there’s some sort of procedure the store managers have to follow in order to make sure the borrowed partner gets paid for the hours worked! :)
