just so great now that starbucks is doing the auto ordering and KNOWS full well what we have on hand and WHAT we pull a day. cause - THEY are the ones who set the pars! Knowing they only give us so much room to receive in, yet send us 50% more than anything our freezers can hold.


Thank goodness we can do the LSR sheet now and tell them to cool it with most of the ordering... but it's just doing an order with extra steps.

Jealous, we got a box of each of the fall pastries and our freezer is basically empty.

our freezer was so full because of automated ordering that it broke. there wasn’t enough room for the fans at the top to function properly and they eventually just shut down. freezer was only 2 years old. for context we are a super high volume store, but also an older store so we only have room for one freezer. i came in one morning and the freezer was filled to the brim, but everything had thawed. i almost quit on the spot.

Can we also talk about the empty space in the freezer? I'm assuming (but open to being wrong) that your delivery drivers are like ours and don't make any sort of attempt to actually fill the freezers and would rather leave out boxes than properly stack them. Also I see a green label box on the bottom of that shrink wrapped pallet...

Please report this to LSR! I'm not sure it actually does any good... But if/when your waste is crazy high, at least you can point to why.
