Idk if there’s truth to this I just saw it on this sub a while back, but someone speculated that it was the result of the machines switching over to the owl cake pop. Like they went from pink to purple production and kinda got this intermediate color

This morning when I was building the case I noticed this too.
I knew the pink had gotten darker, but today was the first time I saw multiple shades in one batch.

A coworker at my store said it has something to do with temperature during transit, but idk.
