It's not the best job in the world or anything but wayyyyyy better than Walmart. Pay depends on where you are, im in Phoenix, Arizona and I get $15. I highly suggest applying to as many as possible and if you think being a shift supervisor would make sense i would suggest applying for both barista and shift supervisor jobs. I haven't been working at Starbucks too long but i get about 15 hours a week ( mostly my choice I'm also in school)

What would be some pros and cons of working there?

Pros: Training is pretty easy if you're decent at remembering pretty simple patterns, the job overall is pretty easy. the people are generally nice. If you work at a corporate store you get a nice amount of free food and drinks.
Cons: if you don't like being super enthusiastic about customers service or anything like that it's pretty much all that. It can get a bit sticky and gross at peak hours. Starbucks as a company isn't known for being great to employees but definitely better than Walmart.
