My application was rejected but I don’t know why (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by SusFringg
I heard Starbucks hires without experience, but I have years of experience in the food industry, my AA and I put my availability as whenever except 3-7 am (the Starbucks near me aren’t even open then)

I never even got an interview. I just don’t get why, holidays are coming, they were “urgently hiring” and I have experience with a ton of availability.

I'm sorry to hear that! I do know that every 90 days they refresh applications so even if you apply on day 89 you will have to reapply the next day since the 90 days resets them. They'll usually send an e-mail saying that they hope you reapply. I would also encourage you to call the store and let them know you applied. Not all SMs are super good at remembering to check the applications. I doubt it has anything to do with you, you sound more than qualified!

Thanks I’ll make sure to call.

This was the email I got so I’m not sure if it’s what you’re talking about.

> Thank you again for your interest in the barista - [redacted] opening and considering opportunities at Starbucks. After careful consideration by our hiring team, you have not been selected to move forward in the interview process for the position at this Starbucks location.

> We hope you consider applying again soon. Please visit starbucks.com/careers to explore additional opportunities at other Starbucks locations.

I know my friend got something similar I'd have to talk to them about it. I don't think it would hurt though to reapply and call though!

It happens. I had prior Starbucks experience and the system rejected me multiple times.
Is the store you applied to not open at all during the times you said you couldn't work?

Sorry, what do you mean by "your AA"?
SusFringg [OP] 1 points 10m ago

My hours were whenever the store was open. And AA is associates degree.

Ah. I read that as "My AA and I.." thx for clarifying
