The note text for the new uniform policy is ridiculous... (self.starbucksbaristas)

"NOTE: The expanded color options and changes to crewneck sweatshirts, jeggings and white shoes will not apply to stores with union representation or union organizing activity on or before May 3. Federal labor laws prohibit Starbucks from making unilateral changes in stores with representation. Instead, the law requires that we bargain over any and all changes or improvements to terms and conditions of employment."
This statement disregards:
1. The fact they can **add** benefits to unionized stores, just not take them away
2. That Howard has openly said he won't negotiate in good faith with the union, so how would any benefits even reach those stores if this *were* true
3. The employees themselves could just enact this policy on their own anyway, because the same threat of being fired and their store closing for unionizing is all that could happen for everyone breaking dress code anyway.
