I made more pumpkin cold foam than anything, but considering the amount of people asking for pumpkin in the past week or so we all thought we were going to be way more busy than we actually were

We weren't as busy as last year, but still busier then the last couple of Tuesdays. It was also almost 100 degrees, which is very abnormal for our area. We went thru several bottles of pumpkin, but last year we went almost completely thru what they auto shipped us in 2 days and they sent less this year and we're completely fine until our order gets in later this week.

I think it’s so expensive now that no one wants to buy into it unless they’re just bad with money. It’s 45¢ more this year for the same old sweet pumpkiny drink. I’ve also seen a lot of smaller chains and mom-n-pop shops taking over cities that are way more popular with better quality product that people are gravitating toward now.

Probably a combination of certain states experiencing heat waves, the price raise, other stores improving their recipes and releasing pumpkin earlier, also baristas on TikTok and instagram saying the pumpkin sauce doesn’t taste the same anymore(which is true. Unusually watery and less flavorful unless you use an ungodly amount)
