is this the right pumpkin pump ?? 🤔🤔 (i.redd.it)

No, the bottle should be emptied into one of the white plastic tubs. You use the same nozzle as white mocha, but you need a separate pumpkin pump that has an orange top and a labeled gauging collar to pump the correct amount. One pump of pumpkin should be slightly less than one pump of white mocha; 6 pumps should equal 8 of the white plastic syrup pumps.
Camellia_Sins -64 points 10m ago
Nope, the pump should have its own collar with the pumpkin spice label!! Not white mocha.
Ristrettooo 56 points 10m ago
Right, like I said, the white mocha *nozzle* can be used, but the pumpkin needs its own collar.
nickintheback08 110 points 10m ago
It’s like nearly impossible to order new metal pumps right now! I just learned this recently, apparently a ton of stores are in need of them, might just be doing what they can.
-Ana-- 19 points 10m ago
Weve been trying to order some back up pumps for chai and white mocha for like two months now
Alarming_Base3148 15 points 10m ago
Yeah. It's in one of the recent updates. Corporate is saving them for new stores and telling us to move pump inventory around between stores..
🤦🏼‍♂️
Electrical_Metal_106 4 points 10m ago
why don’t stores have the pumps from last year? Do people just throw these things away? I would have thought they just get stored somewhere but my store didn’t have theirs
defendpoppunk77 10 points 10m ago
Most of the times the pumps are deconstructed and look like a junk and it’s easy to lose the pieces. We have our “pump” but it’s built out of spare parts but we couldn’t get one last year either
Electrical_Metal_106 3 points 10m ago
We have a drawer labeled “pump graveyard” lol
Alarming_Base3148 1 points 10m ago

Metal is like insanely expensive rn
Deadrax502 1 points 10m ago
We have 3 sorry to flex
desairologist 46 points 10m ago
No!
k-stoner 45 points 10m ago
i believe pumpkin should be in a container with its own labeled pump, like chai and the mochas
Alicekitty13 36 points 10m ago
this is the pump we used for pistachio sauce last winter
Extension-Put-4284 3 points 10m ago
Same here, with all of our seasonal syrups!
AlexanderAJ3 17 points 10m ago
Y’all can just sharpie on the syrup bottles for the expiration date! Our date dots are so far THATS what we do lmao
aspen_fae 6 points 10m ago
my store does that too, even for syrup bottles and frap syrup
vietlazed 1 points 10m ago
We have 3 date dot locations
jodijolean 12 points 10m ago
I wish this pump was standard I hate the metal pumps 😭
horriblyIndecisive 10 points 10m ago
No but my corporate store used that last year! Lmao it made me feel better though that rhe pumps were less so I could feel better about not consuming so much sugar lol
Sunnyrein 7 points 10m ago
Hey sorry unrelated question but I noticed you sticker your syrup bottles my SM informed us that we had no reason to anymore because we go threw so many , as someone who is trying to get to that position is it still required to date syrups . Thank you
labraydon7 32 points 10m ago
Always date the syrups/sauces. (Syrups 30 days, Sauces 2 weeks).
If a health inspector Were to make a surprise visit, the store would dedicated be marked
cornonthefrawg -9 points 10m ago
Sugar Free Vanilla is also dated for two weeks unlike the other syrups for 30 days
singingirl99 7 points 10m ago
What😅
AdIll7946 4 points 10m ago
no haha
GarbageValuable1888 15 points 10m ago
That seems… wrong. Apply it to other things that expire. “We shouldn’t date whip cream because we go through it so fast!” “We go through white mocha so fast we shouldn’t date it!” And the list goes on. Sure - syrups take a long time to expire & you likely won’t have any expire, but not always. For example, honey blend and peppermint (during the summer), are two syrups that have gotten really really close to expiration in my high volume store. I haven’t seen any communication suggesting that rule has changed, so I’d play it safe and date them, considering it only takes an extra 20 seconds.
BatWeary 15 points 10m ago
right?? not to mention if health inspector makes a surprise visit, unlabeled product is a BIG no-no. also the “well dating x is pointless bc we use it so fast” argument is invalid lol. we ran out of whip 4 times today….and still managed to find one that went out 2 days ago hidden behind a whole milk in a fridge. someone would have absolutely used it had it not been dated.
itsnnotdamiann 2 points 10m ago
my store has 8 whip canisters and usually makes new ones about 4-6 times a day so instead of dating them each time we make them, we make new whips at the end of the night after we close date them, then date any unused ones still in the fridge. The openers check all the whips in the morning and make sure that they aren't dated for the day before, its saved us time and I do know of a couple of times where the date sticker wasn't for the day and we were able to throw it out instead of using it
Sunnyrein 6 points 10m ago
Thank you so much I’ll try and bring it up to her today we have PDD . I appreciate it ❤️
liansu_ 2 points 10m ago
we just write the out date with a sharpie
59625962 [OP] -5 points 10m ago
We don't have to date syrups ??
BatWeary 17 points 10m ago
yes you do lol
Sunnyrein 1 points 10m ago
My SM told us awhile back when we would do break down that it was unnecessary , I also had just started then . I finding out that a lot of the things my sm told me were wrong .
potatopoisoning 4 points 10m ago
Have worked for corporate and license: There are dates printed on the bottles yes, so they don’t *need* to be dated by most health departments, however it is standard to date them for 30 days once they have been opened, whether with a sticker or by writing on the bottle with a food safe maker like a Sharpie.

These stickers look like they’re from a license store, mine uses the same ones, license stores sometimes are required to additionally add these stickers regardless of if there is an expiration date on the package. It’s a waste of labor for some things (like the boxes of dried fruit bags that literally *already have exp dates* and the exp on the bags doesn’t change when you open the box because they are still sealed) but some places like Target still require it 😑
Sunnyrein 1 points 10m ago
Well I asked my sm today and she explained that the last time we were audited she was told that we’re not required to date our syrups anymore , and older partners still usually do it because that’s what they’re use to. But I am still gonna date bottles because I don’t wanna risk it .
RubySapphireSage 5 points 10m ago
Some stores are trying their best (shortage of pumps) they sent us pumpkin tops but we need actual pumps low key .
Urmomscoochiehairs 5 points 10m ago
That pump was for the pistachio sauce
crapricorn-01 3 points 10m ago
That’s for pistachio
rosesforabby 3 points 10m ago
Ours hasn't come in yet either lol we just used an extra mocha set'up
EliMinivan 2 points 10m ago
Check if it puts out the same volume as the proper pump would, that would save a bit of washing if it does.
lonclefemelle 1 points 10m ago
should be in a short plastic container with a white mocha esque nozzle and the pumpkin collar. is this a tarbucks? i recognize the freshness labels lol
Queerguy24 1 points 10m ago
Did anything come out??
RutabagaSoft1973 1 points 10m ago
you can use the frap roast pumps or if you have them the green topped pumps from last year for the toasted wm
RutabagaSoft1973 1 points 10m ago
that is pistachio
Alternative-Crew-229 1 points 10m ago

It’s has a green top
croissantboyy 7 points 10m ago
no it doesn't, it's a metal pump like the white mocha, mocha, dark caramel, etc. it has its own orange label and it's own specific gauging collar
Zsgevelin 0 points 10m ago
We are a licensed store and we keep it in the bottle with a green pump🤷🏽‍♀️
croissantboyy 5 points 10m ago
😭😭😭😭 it's definitely the wrong amount.
59625962 [OP] -10 points 10m ago
We also use this pump for dark caramel
nonogender 23 points 10m ago
this pump is only for pistachio. dark caramel and pumpkin have their own metal pumps like the ones we use for mocha, white mocha, chai etc. this pump will not give the proper amount of sauce unless it's on pistachio. plus if you're using it for dark caramel that's WAY too much lol
hailvy 8 points 10m ago
That is way too much dark caramel
