How do tips work? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I've been working at Starbucks for a few weeks and no one has said anything about if or how the tips are distributed. Could someone help?

cash tips should be distributed once a week. They pool together the total for the week and divide it according to how many hours you work. At least that's what they do at my store. As for mobile tips, I believe they're added to your paycheck though I am new so not 100% sure

Correct! All you have to do to get them is go in when your off/before/after a shift/ on a break and ask for them. If not picked up every week they keep accumulating!

Ask your shift to get your tips out of the safe! Easy as that :)
