Question about favoritism (self.starbucksbaristas)

Does anyone else’s store have a shift that fellow partners are just straight-up unkind to? I have a shift who I honestly love he’s funny and takes the job seriously but often puts too much on himself and ends up not being able to do everything that someone might want from him buuuuuut
We have one shift who’s sociable but immature, shows up too loaded to work, often drifts from her station, and straight up mocks partners… everyone thinks he’s the best ever while they shittalk the aforementioned shift for things such as “following company policy”
Does anyone else’s store suffer from this weird shift favoritism??

Yes unfortunately the store I’m working at now has similar problems. The SM shows EXTREME favoritism to the morning crew especially one of the opening ssv’s. The SM even said to a night ssv that “____ is my favorite”. It’s really bad.

Yes, unfortunately. We have some people like that at my store. Most of us get along, but there’s always the person that takes it too far. Yesterday one of my shifts was joking around but it turned into them openly mocking and blaming me for being more confident on one position than another. It was super frustrating because they went out of their way to compare me to another partner that was working.
