Practice practice practice. Watch others when they are on bar when you’re not so you can pick up on how they are sequencing.

“pump, short, tall, grande, venti, venti iced” is what I say when doing pumps. shots are 1/1/2/2/3 for short/tall/grande/venti/venti iced. exceptions are:
americano gets 1/2/3/4 shots for short/tall/grande/venti regardless of being hot or iced
caramel macchiato gets one less pump of vanilla
shaken espressos get half pumps and same amount of shots as americanos
they should have a cheat sheet card for the shots and syrups but if not you can make your own and/or write it on the bean hoppers with a chalk pen.

All of the shaken espresso recipes are built off of the "original" shaken espresso (which used to be called the Starbucks Doubleshot on Ice).

It gets 2/3/4 shots for t/g/v, and HALF the syrup as a latte/americano, etc. If ordered to standard, it gets classic syrup and is topped with 2%. For any syrup besides brown sugar and toasted vanilla, divide the number of pumps in half.

For brown sugar and toasted vanilla, you should have pumps that dispense half the syrup, so you do the full number of pumps. Those are both topped with oatmilk instead of 2%, and they get blonde shots instead of regular espresso.
