Can I do anything about Parking? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by i_wear_a_bison_hat
Just transferred to a store in the south east US, on my third week and a security guard approached me as I walked in saying I parked in the wrong lot for employees? I work at an extremely long strip mall and it's all the way on the opposite side as my sbux apparently. I have asthma and breathing issues since covid(getting winded more prone to attacks, etc.), apparently this is in the sbux lease according to this guy. Do you know if there's anyways people have had exemption or anything for this?

Also no signs badges or anything indicating employee lot other than final warning stickers saying you will be towed next time.

A mall security guard can't enforce Non posted parking laws... If nothing posted it's not law. Park where you need to boo and tell him you're running errands after work, I'm sure there's plenty of space without the need for segregation

Talk to your PCP and see if you can get a temporary handicap tag.

I just feel bad by applying for tags because I know I have customers that need those spots more..
