Might’ve messed up, what would you have done? ()

Well you technically aren’t allowed to just take home stuff like that without being a mark out. You even admitted you stole it. If the company or any higher up finds out you’re doing stuff like this… you can be fired for theft. I’m sure a lot of supervisors are cool and don’t care, but some will. It’s hard to say whether you were caught or not if someone physically found the espresso beans. Either way, I recommend asking first before physically grabbing anything or putting anything in a short cup for your personal use. It will help you remember and avoid the possibility of termination.

I wanted to see if there was possibly a way to mark something out like that, but I was irresponsible:(
Thank you for the words, I’ll see how things go. Most likely if a serious issue arose I probably would’ve been told.

Hope it all goes well! If it helps, maybe when the syrup bottle is about to be changed, you can ask if you can have the rest left over. I know at my store the syrup they throw away in the bottle would still be good for a drink or even a few. Or, you can ask a partner if they will allow you to have their espresso mark out. I don’t use mine and if someone wanted it, I would have 100% given it to them.
