i am moving states from California to Colorado next year, and I was curious if my payrate is going to change or stay the same? does it change based on where you live? i’m gonna be bummed if it goes down after just getting a raise here in CA.

Pay is determined by your district, so if you transfer to an area with lower pay, you will get a pay cut - and California pays higher than many other parts of the country. If you’re currently making more than your store’s starting pay, you’ll probably keep the same percentage over your new store’s starting pay, but that’s all. The nationwide minimum is now $15.

Itll go down. I moved literally 2 hours away from my starting store and my pay dropped 50cents. Its based on cost of living in your area as well as state’s minimum wage.

Yea it depends on what district. It’s at least $15 now but. I heard somewhere that Denver county is taking its min wage up to $17.50+ but I’m not sure when or where exactly that will apply

Yes it’ll be $17 something starting january 1st!

I switched districts shortly after getting a performance bonus, and that pay transferred when I switched stores. I’m not sure how the process differs when you’re moving states, but I would definitely ask your current sm, or you could call partner resources and ask! You wouldn’t be the first to do so

probably down, but it does depend on the district. I'm in colorado and get 15 even, but denver might have higher rates than where I'm at. I think your raise should stay, but only whatever your raise is on top of the base rate here.

I think Colorado MW might be the same as California so hopefully it won’t down very much if at all
