Getting no hours and manager won't respond to messages (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by crystyleea
I just transferred stores a little over a week ago. Last week I had 18 hours, and this next week I'm going to have 12 and I told her I wanted to work about 15 hours per week so I figured 18 and 12 evened out. However, when the schedule for the following week came out, I was only scheduled for 5! I am a college student and need money to contribute to rent, food, school, etc. I texted her 2 days ago asking if there was any way I could get at least one more shift that week because I need more hours to help cover my living expenses, but she hasn't responded. At my old store, I would've just picked up shifts on the app, but no one at this store seems to ever put any up for claim. I'm at a loss for what to do. I really need the money

Try to contact the district manager and let him/her know what’s going on.

If you can’t contact the District manager. I suggest calling the partner center on which they can lead you to the district manager. Or just straight up tell the partner center what’s going on. The number is 1 (888)-728-9411. Hope this helps!
