Do we get paid time and a half on the holiday if it’s training hours? (self.starbucksbaristas)

To keep it short, I have to complete computer training and was told by my SM to come in whenever to complete it. If thats the case, should I come in on Monday and do it all then if I will be getting paid time and a half? 👀

As long as its a federal holiday (such as memorial day on monday) and ur clocked in at ur store, u will be paid time and a half

After reading your first comment, I would have caught that and recognized what you meant and what I had said originally but I just got off work and my brain is not going to be working for another hour or two so. im pretty certain if its a holiday and you’re on the clock then you’re gonna get paid 1.5 times! they just might not let you stay for long or have you choose a different day.
