i always feel completely overworked at my store. My manager sucks at her job and can’t schedule anything right. I’m constantly on the brute end of thjngs because i’m supposed to be the second lead, but i really do not get treated like it, nor am i paid enough😃 i feel undermined and honestly kinda abused here. I want to quit really bad. I love being a barista and making coffee and meeting nice customers. But i have to deal with so much everyday because i’m the only one who can do it. I really want to quit so my manager will realize how much i actually do for her. She gets away with so much irresponsible shit i have no idea how she even became a manager ! She leaves me alone for hours on end and expects me to be fine being completely short staffed on very very busy weekends and also expects us to do everything for her while she’s gone on the weekends. She even called in sick this past friday causing a whole schedule shift in the store i work in . She is not even supposed to be the manager for the stores starbucks, i was the only one who applied for the position. I haven’t really made an attempt to talk about getting it now because i want to just leave. I’m overall really upset with my work and i don’t even think i wanna work at a regular corporate starbucks. I’m done af with over the top gun to the head customer service.
