I quit. (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by New-Examination8400
After two and a half months. It was that bad.
I’m not in the U.S., that’s all I’ll say. Not that I think it makes a difference.
I held on during Summer because I had to; I was a part-time, school starting September.

I did not quit because of school, I quit because of passive-agressive people, underpayment, psychological crap I won’t even get into, the list goes on but I don’t have the mental energy for it.

Most of my colleagues were nice tho. Some were looking for other jobs as well. Shit show.

Bye bye employee discount, you I will def miss.

I’m sorry. Passive aggressive micro aggression is in every job to some degree. I’m not trying to minimize your experience!
I really must have lucked out with my location.

I wish it could’ve lasted a little longer…

Are you in a position where you can possibly try another location? Sometimes a change in leader ship is only need.

I think that ship has sailed… I didn’t know how to request that, and I feared the Starbucks mafia would come for me (I couldn’t go very far so the odds that my new superiors knew the previous ones on a personal level were astronomic).
