I’m usually on bar during my shifts so I don’t interact with customers as much as some of my coworkers but I was on window today for the first time in a while. I had spent the whole day joking with strangers and smiling in autopilot. A customer comes up who I know likes to make dad jokes or sometimes weird jokes. He jokingly says that he’s busy robbing banks after I asked him what his Labor Day plans were. I fake laughed and the man pretended to steal out basket of on-the-go stuff and I fake laughed harder. That man was so pleased with himself and after he left I looked at my coworker and said “looks like we’ve got a comedian on our hands” with a blank face. She looked kinda freaked out lol
