is there a minimum number of hours we’re supposed to get a week? (self.starbucksbaristas)

i’ve been with starbucks since april and my hours were fine (around 30 a week) until recently. i have pretty good availability but i’ve only been scheduled 4 hours this week, no hours next week, and then 4.25 hours the following week. is there anything i can do about this or should i just start looking for other jobs?

with the new update its supposed to be at least a 12 hr minimum for everyone i thought 😬

So with the update for example if you want 12 hours then you need to put 150% availability meaning you need to have 18 hours available to get at least 12. If you want 30hours you will need to extend availability to 45, ect

Ok, lots of things are involved here. Your weekday availability is limited. Your best bet is to talk to your SM. I don’t know specifics like demand and earned hours your store receives so there’s no clear cut answer. There are many other factors as well that can be store specific so you really need to sit down with the SM to find out how you can potentially get more hours. That’s the best route to go in this situation.
