This was my reaction exactly!!

The combination itself isn’t bad. Coffee with cream and sweetener. But the directions. Tf does the foam do at the bottom? And shaken?? Just get regular sweet cream
imathrowayslc 131 points 10m ago
Foam on the bottom isn’t bad. Pouring over it kind of distributes the fluffy through the drink.

That said I would NEVER order it I would only do it if I was on bar and had extra time.

Also your director needs to upgrade to stevia.
borrowedurmumsvcard 20 points 10m ago
stevia is actually not great for you, contrary to popular belief
vivnaomi 4 points 10m ago
What makes it bad?
borrowedurmumsvcard 32 points 10m ago
it’s fine in moderation but some people consume excessive amounts because they think it’s fine because it has no real sugar. but more than the daily recommended amount can cause kidney problem and problems with your reproductive health and it can even interact with certain medications. it’s still healthier than splenda though.
djdementia 7 points 10m ago
can't find too much about it myself, so I'm curious too.

* https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevia#Safety_and_regulations
* https://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/what-is-stevia#091e9c5e80f990b9-1-3

I don't see much of anything in those articles except that it needs to be properly processed, don't try to make it at home, and don't consume too much of it because research is still being done.

>If you see whole stevia leaves or crude stevia extracts at your local natural foods store, don’t buy them.

>The WHO's Joint Experts Committee on Food Additives has approved, based on long-term studies, an acceptable daily intake of steviol glycoside of up to 4 mg/kg of body weight.[49] In 2010, The European Food Safety Authority established an acceptable daily intake of 4 mg/kg/day of steviol, in the form of steviol glycosides. Meanwhile, the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center warns that "steviol at high dosages may have weak mutagenic activity,"[50] and a review "conducted for" the Center for Science in the Public Interest notes that there are no published carcinogenicity results for rebaudioside A (or stevioside).[45]

I have customers that ask for their foam cold brew stirred or shaken and I always tell them to order it upside down because it saves us time and confusion. An upside down SCCB is just another regular drink for us because I’ve told so many people. It’s WAY easier than making the cold brew just to shake it or have to stir it when it’s full.
_easybeans 84 points 10m ago
I always get confused when people add Splenda or stevia to an already very sweetened drink but I’ve never tried it so idk
starbucksbarist28 11 points 10m ago
I just like the taste of artificial sugars 😭
violentfemme17 7 points 10m ago
i love that sweet sweet aspartame
Chemical-Less 72 points 10m ago
thats kinda messed up lol
Better_Dust_2364 55 points 10m ago
Take sweet creme cold foam, pour it into the cup. Add blonde ristretto shots to the top and swirl it around. It’s thick and so luxurious.

Fuck all these other steps

Edit: I’m glad other people like this 😅 I thought I was weird but this is one of my favorite drinks: A grande cup half full of vsccf with 2 blonde ristretto shots(sometimes 3) in it. Less calories than a latte with the foam, costs less, and is basically a dessert
I_like_to_know 2 points 10m ago
2% milk has 16 calories per ounce, heavy cream has 101 calories per ounce, I can't figure out how this would be less calories than a latte?
Better_Dust_2364 2 points 10m ago
Did you misread and think it was a whole cup of heavy cream?

You only use 100 ml of cold foam (the normal amount that’s added onto of any drink ordered with cold foam) that’s it. So the normal drink would have all the milk plus the cold foam. so if you take away the drink portion you’ve lost all the calories from the milk and or sugar… so it’s less calories hence “Less calories than the latte with the foam”
I_like_to_know 1 points 10m ago
I read a grande cup half full of vsccf, that’s 8 oz, 100 ml of vsccf does not create 8 oz 🤷‍♀️
uwumoment 1 points 10m ago
yeah there’s no way

Samiixmarie 35 points 10m ago
Is this for real?? He lost me at “shaken” and I was dead and buried after sweet cream foam *at the bottom*.
uwumoment 1 points 10m ago

Necessary_Low939 30 points 10m ago

TylerJ716 29 points 10m ago

frappeyourmom 21 points 10m ago

He wanted to be fancy ig
EyesOpenedWide31 17 points 10m ago
Someone who orders a complicated drink like that is the same person who is going to expect that this is waiting for him when he comes visits your store.
Accomplished_Cow_116 14 points 10m ago
Comes to visit unannounced… and yes, exactly.
jupiter_bug 15 points 10m ago
"Shaken"?? I sense a fraud
TheDoorMatts 14 points 10m ago
Fuckin asshole. Too much ask me bullshit.
SierraLVX 12 points 10m ago
Sweet foam and breve in one?! Is this guy trying to give himself a lactose overdose?!?😝
pfunk42529 1 points 10m ago
There is very little lactose in heavy cream. Highest lactose level is in nonfat milk.
GayCrimeDuck 10 points 10m ago
Someone (him) has never had a single personal challenge in life. That is the drink of an entitled consumer who’s destined for management at a corporate fast food joint
Spookybabette 9 points 10m ago
The cold foam shows he does not understand physics also the cold brew? Shaken? It’s got a blonde shot? 4/10 he is weak
verdeuce 9 points 10m ago
Why are you like this
4filth 8 points 10m ago
anyone asking me to shake a drink that doesn’t come shaken is a fucking psycho imo
Responsible_Snow7109 -1 points 10m ago
Lol theres this girl that comes to my store and orders a grande shaken espresso, no classic, white mocha and no 2% but sub sweet cream instead. So that means to get the correct proportions, i have to shake the espresso shots with the ice and white mocha...pour it in the cup, pour sweet cream in and pour all that into the shaker and shake it all together lol

Dazzling_Pop_7073 6 points 10m ago
I don't like him already 💀 who tf
AcanthisittaOk2549 6 points 10m ago
He’s apparently going to be a barista for his training so I wonder how he’ll feel once he tried to make his own drink
cecicoot 5 points 10m ago
Is this a joke? I’ve had maybe 2 customers order vsccf on the bottom of a drink and it obviously never turns out the way they think it’s going or turn out
RaidiationHound 5 points 10m ago
What 😭 what is this
Minkybun 5 points 10m ago
