so i work at a licensed store and we’re getting a new barista because we’re so incredibly understaffed. he has experience working at a dunkin, but we’re obv very different in terms of making drinks. my team lead (i work at a starget) came to me and asked me to train the new barista. i’ve been an on and off barista for two years and some change. i’m an ex partner, but at my licensed store, some things we do a little differently (we have a different pos system, smaller spaces, etc.)
tldr: i have to train a new barista at my licensed store. what are some things you know now that you wish your trainer would’ve told you?
