New shift lead transferred to our store thinks he knows better than everyone else. Trying to enforce things on other shift leads and employees? (self.starbucksbaristas)

So i do not know what the subreddits view of this would be. Im a new hire started a month before summer started. Its been a great experience working for starbucks compared to my old job (which had a pretty toxic work environment). It actually took me working at my starbucks for awhile to look back and realize how bad things were at my old place in comparison.
Im including that because maybe this is in part me looking into it because paranoia from my past experience. Though the new shift lead was enforcing things that our store was not enforcing at all (maybe thats on out store) like we would typically stick the end of stickers on top of the printer so we could easily read the recipe as we made the drink. Then once we had syrups and shots pulled we’d place the sticker on the cup. The new shift lead was giving us a hard time about it. Im guessing the standard is to place it right on the cup and i sometimes do that but with more complicated custom orders i wouldn’t so I could easily read the recipe. I put stickers on the cups immediately for several orders then dont for one order and hes instantly on my case about it. Its literally his second day at our location and he wasnt even the scheduled shift he was just a barista that day. Later on he yelled at our actual shift to keep pulling madelines (which rarely sell at our store) and then i changed the keg which ive rarely done (im pretty sure i did it correct but it wasnt sealed (which I admittedly didnt check I should have but they’ve always been sealed when i changed it in the past so i didnt think to)
Now if he just said something to me about checking it thats one thing but the actual shift. I guess didnt have much experience dealing with a exploding keg, so she kind of was nervous asking questions and he just grabbed it off the floor flipped it around and looked really angry about it. Without explaining anything. Now he doesnt seem like a bad person. He was nice but its those things that kind of got to me a bit hes been working for starbucks for 10 years in a big city so im sure he knows what hes doing, but hes enforcing things and getting passive aggresive about things we arnt really used to doing (and maybe we shouldve been doing those things but i still dont think he handled things well)
. Then after he left pretty much everyone said they wernt a huge fan including the shift, and I asked another shift today if they worked with him at all and they said no and then one of our other shifts and some other baristas said they didn’t like him either.
Which im glad im not alone in this, but i am kind of concerned about the whole talking about a shift behind their back aspect to, cause well my location never really had that problem, beyond maybe the very rare comment, and its becoming a daily thing when it comes to our new shift. Just gives me vibes of my old work place, and makes me worried about how work will be in future shifts with him. Now im in college classes to which i was perfectly fine with working and doing classes, since i honestly do like my job got along with my coworkers, but the one shift i worked with this guy felt misrable and he wasnt even scheduled as a shift lead that shift.
We got another new shift transfer recently and they were great they seemed to fit in well and they brought some things from their store to the table but it was in a respectful way.
