Anyone else’s store having customers come in and ordering what’s basically a latte but they ask for shots over ice, extra milk and other add ins. Its frustrating bc ik some customers are just trying to order a fancy TikTok drink but there’s others who full well know they’re cheating our system to get there little drink at a cheaper price. Thoughts ?

if they want milk to the top then it gets charged as a latte and you let them know. if they want 3/4” of milk then they can get that but it may not be filled to the top.

My store should start saying that to customers tbh, I almost never fill them all the way up but then another barista or ssv will say we can fill it but i think we shouldn’t tbh

its corporate policy lmao if they want more than 4 ounces of milk they pay for a latte.
edit- my first week at my store someone tried to do this and my ssv intervened on the headset and rang it up as a latte and the customer drove off bc they thought they could pull some shit with a new barista on drive.

You can ask the customer if they want the milk to the top then you can just punch in the correct order.
