Does anyone actually know the Starbucks policy on tips? I had a partner come up to me and said she had seen another partner pocket a 20 dollar tip. I’m not sure what the policy is. When I asked my asm he said he didn’t know either.

All tips are pooled together. Unless it’s in a sealed envelope with the baristas name on it you cannot take it.

Agree with other comment that tips should be pooled. The partner guide even goes as far to say that even if someone handed it to you directly (like specifically giving it to one partner) it’s supposed to go into the tip jar. It’s generally agreed up on that if you receive something in a sealed envelope/card/etc that you don’t have to share.
