They don't. When both espresso machines went down people kept ordering lattes or would switch to macchiatos. And were shocked to find out they had espresso. It happened every other car that pulled through, we had to explain lattes, macchiatos, and even americanos have espresso in them.

I can taste the difference. I can also tell the difference between our reg espresso and the blonde. There’s also a difference in smell. I don’t think I’m a super taster either. I’ve just worked hard at pinpointing flavors in things.
