"How much cream would you like in your coffee?" (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by lilmissambersue
My coworker asked this question to a customer because she wanted a Pike with cream.

The woman responded rudely "I don't know what you're asking me"
coworker "how much half and half cream do want in your coffee?"
Customer "....I don't understand, no one has ever asked me that before...."

So I chime in " would you like extra? A light amount? A half inch, 1/4 inch? Would you like it on the side and you can put it in yourself?" I said it nicely but, I talk to rude people like they are a toddler lol she looks at me and says "I have never had someone at Starbucks talk to me like that"

I just walked away and let her continue the transaction. She was speaking in such a rude way to my NEW coworker and I'm not gonna allow that. Its a very normal, common question, do not talk to the barista like she's an idiot or you will deal with me.
She was much nicer to my coworker after 🙃

“You don’t know how I take it? But I come here all the time!” Yeah, it’s Starbucks. Everyone comes here all the time.

the amount of times people say, in the most bemused tone, “…i’ve never had anyone ask me that…” for stuff that’s like, just me tryna get their order right. like i’m sorry Patricia but there’s a huge difference between 6 pumps peppermint and just one in ur white mocha “with peppermint”
