some woman came in last night at like 6pm and got a 7 shot soy latte. WHAT? Thats 525mg of caffeine. I stared for a second processing the order and she said: “don’t stare at me like that, it’s for my husband.” Is ur husband ok lady??
Edit: the woman was smiling when she said that!! We had a laugh about it. Just concerned for his heart, that’s all 😭

She or her husband probably work night shift as a nurse,doctor, or police/military. Jobs where you consume so much caffeine regularly that it doesn’t phase you.

Definitely! Personally I can drink six shots as a baseline. Like no ill effects, stomach issues, or jitters.
I’m glad you guys had a laugh about it though, I’m sure she ribs her husband for making her look like a caffeine fiend 😂

I've heard that a lot of people who get super caffeinated or sugary drinks are transitioning over from drugs or alcohol abuse. Not sure if that was the case here but I kinda stopped judging when I heard about that being a possibility, personally.

I drink 7 blonde shots every work day and other stuff as wanted during/after my shift. And I'm a barista, that's not nearly as demanding as a residency or something. Live and let live. ✌️
