So I asked my manager about transferring to a different store. I want to transfer as soon as possible because I’m not a big fan of my manager. They told me that I have to wait until at least November to transfer because they can’t spare any more people right now. Am I allowed to transfer whenever I want or do I need to wait?

go above your mgrs head and reach out to your DM and to the SM of the store you want to transfer to. they’d generally rather transfer you over having you quit

U need to wait 6 months from ur hire date unless there is a legit good reason like moving to another state etc. u also need to get approved by the sm (signing paper etc.) and not be on a final. And both stores need to agree. Find ur own store. Also some sm would try to get rid of (fire) people who wanna transfer along the way.

Just apply to the storw you want to move to. They cant stop you

but they can stop you though. once youre in the system you can’t apply as an outside hire.
