I am so so sorry 😞 I hope you have good people around you and are able to maybe seek therapy once you have insurance back. SBUX is TOXIC and this should not have been delt with this way. You did what was best for you, and I proud of you for that.

this makes me furious as someone who was *wrongly* fired for sexual harassment. I was 254… working at the siren with a bestie. got fired because I swatted her butt on accident when trying to wave her out of the way. she was fine with it, but a SSV made a big deal out of it. managed to escalate the situation, and “because it was put down on paper” there was nothing my SM could do, she fought corporate on it but her hands were tied since starbucks has such a strict policy. I was separated. the fact that someone can sexually harass multiple partners, they actually report them and nothing happens makes me so angry for each and every one of you. and mad at the siren for dropping the ball so majorly.
something similar to your situation was happening at a later job I had, Lowes. a member of management was harassing female employees and they went to SM and it was all kinda not escalated. they kept fighting and trying to go down different routes. even after leaving lowes themselves, they kept at it. got my SM and the harasser fired, along with multiple other managers in the district. it was huge news. so maybe if when the dust settles, it’s not something you wanna give up on, then don’t because justice can still be served in many other avenues.
so sorry, again, and best of luck to you OP.
