Sick hours/doctors note requirement (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I have sick hours (20) and I’m thinking of using them all due to being in really horrible pain. I’m just getting out of the ER and the doctor just gave me one day for tomorrow but I work the rest of this week and I don’t know if I’ll be able to.
Let’s just say the pain is male anatomy oriented and I’m literally waddling everywhere I go. I would not be able to work my usual day at starbs. It hurts to even stand for extended periods of time right now. I just need time to lay down and just let everything chill.
My question is do I NEED a doctors note for days covered by sick hours or no?

I think they can only even ask you for a note if you take more than 3 days off and even then it’s up to the SM to even ask

After 3 days you're expected to go through sedgewick for a leave of absense, and even then you don't have to show your SM a note because they'll have you submit it directly to sedgewick.
If you get through a couple days and think you need more time I'd see if you can contact the provider for an extended note.

Oh okay awesome! I’ve never had to do it before so I wasn’t sure exactly how it worked I just know it said something about dr note and three days lol

I don’t believe you need a drs note or any proof of being sick to use your sick hours

No Dr's note needed. They can't actually be taken at the store level. Just write your time in the book!

However, if you're out more than 3 consecutive shifts, you do need to apply for a temporary LOA with Sedgwick and they will need a Dr's note.

You need for 3 or more so you should apply for a leave at 3 days.

So even with sick hours I still gotta do it?
I was off yesterday so it would just be today, tomorrow, and Saturday with my going back on Sunday and using my sick time for all 3 shifts (I have 20 hours)
