I work for a smoothie/coffee bar in a hospital that is sponsored by Starbucks and here recently they have given me the stuff to make refreshers but I don't have any kind of recipe book or steps to follow and I couldn't find an accurate PDF recipe book online, could someone help me out with this? Please and thank you!!!

Do you have the shakers? Usually, a shaker will have measurements on the side to help you out. A shaker is also needed anyways because you have to mix the refresher base and water/milk/lemonade or else it just won’t taste as good.

no i dont, they didn’t give me that either, i’ll have to see if i can get my hands on one..

Yeah, for sure! A shaker will have all the specific measurements for every size cup and even say what the measurement is for. (I.e. - fill to a specific line with base)❤️

Let me see if I can find a recipe online tho, or at least find a picture of a shaker to show you!

that would be awesome!! thank you!! and for example the mango base they sent me also seems like it would make it way too thick

Okay, so with the base, you usually have to dilute it with water anyways. If it’s in the rectangular cartons, you don’t typically just use it straight from there. I go into work at 2 and can send pictures of what I’m talking about to make it easier to understand! :)

Base is usually diluted 1/1 with water. If its the box, 1 liter should do it. From there, without a proper measurement shaker, I’d do 1/1 again with desired mix, be that water, lemonade, or coconut milk, etc.
If I remember correctly the box is 4x concentrate.

Reply to add, if its not the box, I’d read the container and see if it says what strength the base is. Double/2x will be obvious only cut once in which you’d only do half base half desired mix, and so on.

good to know, thank you so much as well!!

Of course! Happy to help

1/3 base (made with 1/2 concentrate and 1/2 water), 1/3 water or lemonade or coconut milk, 1/3 ice

Boxes are diluted. 1 box to a normal pitcher of water. Then from there, it’s like 1/2 pitcher refresher to 1/2 water plus ice for a regular drink. People substitute the water for things like teas or coconut milk. I’m not sure if you got inclusions as well, but the color for the mango dragonfruit comes from dye in the inclusions. Tastes the same though. The others don’t have that problem.
caleyourself [OP]3 points10m ago
i did get the inclusions, thank you though this will help a lot!

Two spoonfuls of inclusions per drink!

Reading that u don’t have the shaker—U can do 1/4 base, 1/4 water/lemonade/coconut milk, the fruit pieces, and 1/2 ice using whatever cups u have. Since u don’t have a shaker, u can swirl it with a straw, obviously it won’t be as good.

i’ve been covering both holes on the lid and shaking it that way right now, it hasn’t been too bad, but thank you so much
