If we say we're closed it means no more drinks, period. end of story. (self.starbucksbaristas)

My store just reopened from remodel on Sunday and because we're short staffed our hours are limited... like we close at 7 for the first 2 weeks of business level of early. We explained that to every customer that pulled up to the speaker box until we took off our headsets and left. But for some reason this ONE lady thought she was special and said "are you sure you can't help me out here? I have like 8 drinks.... IT'S ONLY 5 AFTER! " and I kinda chuckled because I thought she was joking...... she wasn't and she didn't like that I laughed. A minute or two pass of similar exchange before I told her all our machines were already taken apart and that the store just down the road was still open. That's when she finally accepted defeat and left.... EVERY SINGLE OTHER CUSTOMER was understanding and said either asked questions about our hours for the time being or said something along the lines of "that's understandable".... it's the entitled people that make customer service so difficult and hard to love, most everyone else is fine

I’m not gonna lie once my store is closed, no matter the time, every single customer is getting ignored. It’s no longer my responsibility to greet you. I know some managers can be weird about signs but try putting one directly on the speaker box so you don’t have to explain every time.

If I've learned one thing from working customer service, you'd believe most customers are,in fact, illiterate though lol

Greetings,

Why people are so desperate for services is beyond me. What is so wrong with just coming back another time?

Cheers,
