Dang I’m sorry OP. Unfortunately there’s a lot of people like that and we’re easy targets for them. I’m usually pretty good about letting things roll off but lately it’s been getting to me more. (I might need to find a new profession soon if I don’t want to lose my mind.)

I was talking to my mom about being forced to make customer connections and she told me she answers the survey she gets every time, and she apparently answers things “poorly” (I’ve never seen the survey so idk how it’s graded) because she *hates* when they make small talk with her lol. She has anxiety and says it makes her feel awful to try and make small talk. (Don’t worry, I told her not to do that anymore lol)

My point is, it’s probably not your fault.
