i feel like when i was asked to be a trainer i was told that i would be taught everything i needed to know, but it’s been a while since i was trained and so even though i know all the motions for everything, i don’t quite feel like i’m prepared on how to tell someone else who has never done something like this how to do it. i have my knowledge check soon, but i did all of the trainer-training and still feel ill prepared for this role

It’s pretty easy dw, you only really need to know the lingo for everything (sequencing, LATTE model, CSR tasks etc). When you’re actually training somebody, all you have to do is follow the instructions on the tablet and regurgitate it to the green bean. Hope this helps 👌🏿

to add on, you can look at the training guides (iPad > store resources > train a barista) at any time! by which I mean you can look at them now to get an idea of how they’re set up, review them to prepare right before you start training a green bean, and obviously you’ll refer to them while you’re actually doing the training
