thinking about going back to starbucks but can't work much during school year...is it worth it? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Worth_Tough_2347
I worked at starbucks for a little over a year and quit about 3 years ago. I'm a college student now & looking for a part-time job that wouldn't require a ton of training and allow me to keep working over breaks when I have extra time. I know Starbucks won't typically hire seasonal workers, so I'm wondering if it would even be worth it for me to get a job (\~10hrs a week) at the location near campus for a month or two and then transfer home and work up to full time for about a month before transferring back. I feel like I may not get hired because of how many stipulations I'd have. Although, it'd be great to go back because I really do love the job and would only need a refresher on training since those recipes are burned into my brain forever 😊 Let me know if you'd think it'd be worthwhile for me to try and go back, or if I should take my chances somewhere else.
