So my store has been out of vb powder for about a week now and you’d think it’s the end of the world for some people. I’ve been getting a lot of people asking for pink drinks with vb and after I let them know we don’t have it they have to contemplate their whole existence. I’ve personally never had it so I don’t know what hold it has on these people. Not trying to gatekeep vb, just think it’s kinda funny how one missing ingredient will make you change your whole order.

Literally happens with any shortage tho... Was out of Dragonfruit inclusions for a week and people would complain that their drink wasn't pink 🙄 some would even go as far as to ask if we could just 'put the pink color in without the fruit' like???? Wut 🙃

Oh yeah we didn’t have that for a minute too. We always gave people a heads up that it wouldn’t be the color and made sure they knew

One time my store must've gotten a lower quality batch of dragonfruit, because almost all of those bags in that box barely added color to the mango. I had a guest ask for "extra purple" in her drink after I handed it off, I explained the situation and offered to remake it with an extra scoop to get the color, but she said she was fine without the remake.
Also on the topic of Vanilla Bean, I want to add that we also had a dude at our store, that at least once a week, would get a Venti Vanilla Bean Frap, with double of the scoops of VB, then VSCCF on top of that, with caramel drizzle on top of that. I did try it once just to see what it was like, and I'll admit it wasn't bad but idk how he could drink a Venti one of those each week without getting sick.

Vanilla bean is way better than vanilla syrup but pink drink is already so sweet I can’t imagine adding anything more to it. Suggest strawberry puree that’s different?

I’m like 95% sure people saw someone do it on TikTok with the vb so that’s why everyone’s wanting it lately. Also we’re currently out of strawberry purée as well 😭

I’m back in college to get my graduate degree, traveling, and doing online work related to the field I was in prior to SB which is in the lane of ABA therapy, now doing advocacy. I worked at SB for a year during the pandemic basically just because I was by myself so much and needed interaction.
