This happens in mobile when they select "Quad Espresso" and then modify the shots down to 2. They only get charged for two shots, so just put two decaf shots in the cup and fill to the top with ice.
BlackBoxDatBoi30 points9m ago
Just checked this. Can confirm they only wanted the doppio
totallyNotEvie85892 points9m ago
also interesting, if you add a shot to a grande americano, it only charged the $0.20 that would be the up size to a venti, instead of the usually $1 for an add shot
Vistril6943 points9m ago
Wait for the custie when they come in and ask them how many shots they want ig
opheliasfault18 points9m ago
People order this all the time at my store! I used to as well after surgery when I couldn’t intake as much caffeine and would put my protein shake in it(before I worked at the siren). As much as we think people are trying to hack, sometimes we forget that there are those who just don’t know how to order it otherwise ☺️

Quit
clouds18314 points9m ago
they fully have the option for 1/2 decaf so those assumptions are incorrect. I’d assume they don’t know what quad means. they’re only paying for two total shots so do 2 total decaf. nothing more.
watermeloncupcakes10 points9m ago
Waited.
dallizzlee7 points9m ago
2 shots of decaf and ice. It only charges for two shots if they do two shots.
No_Ad_3495 points9m ago
I would have given them two decaf shots.
moldygiraffes5 points9m ago
I probably would have done two decaf, two regular shots. I’d just assume the double was for the decaf.
PrisonRiz10 points9m ago
I dont think that would be a good idea unless you know for sure what they want or you double check with the customer when they arrive. Alot of people who drink decaf can't handle all of the caffeine in regular espresso. Also there is a half caff option on the app
mileygirl084 points9m ago
2 decaf shots. fill the cup with ice. dun.
Venus_Fox184 points9m ago
When someone gets that, I assume that they want extra ice and I just fill it up
rohammer322 points9m ago
Given them 4 blonde shots
Tuuuucc2 points9m ago
Made it.
underdoglush1 points9m ago
Quad half caf
No_Ad_3497 points9m ago
Aaaand you’ve just given your customer (who specified two decaf shots) a heart attack. Nice!
underdoglush0 points9m ago
Fire me please
No_Ad_3495 points9m ago
Lmao mood. Sorry, yeah I don’t care about the company or anything - just don’t want anyone to accidentally kill someone. I personally don’t understand why customers with those health issues risk gamble with that risk, but 🤷🏻♂️. (And yes I have had regulars who order decaf and openly talk about their health conditions.)
MasterMischievous3 points9m ago
Well maybe after a heart attack they’ll learn to order a doppio espresso then. Show these dumbass gambling custies what it really means to gamble/order like a bafoon.

put more ice in it and definitely not have put matcha in the fruit inclusion container????
cassienova445 points9m ago
It's an incision container (Market Jar), it doesn't just have to be fruit inclusions. It's there to replace the gross brown ones we used to have and can store all inclusions.
Fann-Brulee-7 points9m ago
oh, that’s okay! at our store we use them as they’re intended for fruit inclusions with a rack and everything, and the brown ones are used for all the others. i understand if your store doesn’t really have standards tho
cassienova448 points9m ago
My store does have standards. And both new stores I have worked at have hanging market jar holders that are intended for all inclusions to be in them.
Kristen26677 points9m ago
They are meant for all inclusions, including matcha. There are two different types of stores, CBE stores get the round market jars for all inclusions and the spouted pitchers on the built in shelf on the wall, and CBS stores have the brown inclusion jars and the pour pitchers. You should only have one or the other, not both. So yeah, they are in standard. Please know what you’re talking about first before you try and bash others.
Shoddy-Trainer-8051-3 points9m ago
The better question is why is your matcha powder in THAT?!
cassienova448 points9m ago
Because it's a market jar that's meant for all inclusions, including matcha
Shoddy-Trainer-80511 points9m ago
Considering how many times a week one of those go flying across the floor at my store, no thanks.
cassienova441 points9m ago
Why/how are market jars flying across your floor?
Shoddy-Trainer-80511 points9m ago
We have 130 peaks with 4 ppl on the floor and we’re going as fast as we can and those are not ergonomically shaped and are what tend to slip out of people’s hands. Therefore they’re inclusion bowls in my store.
smileybby-3 points9m ago
I mean when ordering it’s 4 shots so I’m guessing he wants an added decaf shot
the_price_is_right96-2 points9m ago
6 decaf shots over ice.
CobaltLemon-2 points9m ago
6 decaf shots
CommanderWar64-2 points9m ago
I’d do 2 and 2, it’s an expensive drink

two shots of decaf four shots of espresso?
dontcry2022-1 points9m ago
Waited until they showed up to clarify.
lemonzestconfetti-1 points9m ago
depending on your mood, you could average them lol (4+2)/2 = 3 shots babyyyyyy
or you could live dangerously and +2 shots on top of the quad shot 😳
or some ppl just said it’s charged as a double shot so do that instead
