Personally can't stand when someone give an intricate complicated drink order before even giving the size, vsccf on every drink (bonus points when they ask for extra), and when we're going through a rush and someone stops me to say "When you get the chance could you get me a venti water? :)"

when customers stand right next to the bar and stare you down GOD IT MAKES ME SO UNCOMFORTABLE
when there’s a big rush and that one person keeps asking for their drink & for it to be made first because they’re in a hurry

And it’s like… I want to explain their ticket hasn’t printed out yet being between DT and mobiles… it’s not like we have a screen where we can see what everyone is ordering 😭 especially when I’m in the middle of 3 drinks and someone stops me to ask questions and then if their order is almost ready…. Well yeah, I was working on it but u stopped me to talk lol

when customers stand next to the bar like that if i have a chance to stop i’ll go “oh can i help you?” and when they go “oh im just waiting for my drink” i just kind of awkwardly look at them and say “oh… okay then! it’ll be out shortly” and then they feel to awkward to stand there cus they think that’s the help counter lol. or i tell them it’ll be a minute and if they want to sit i’ll call it out fort hem

I always get the ones that do stand there and even after I tell them to please sit and relax and that we are actively working on their order. They always say “ok” and continue to stand there! ಠ_ಠ

bonus points if they stand there with their arms crossed looking you up and down as if you’re doing something wrong
ma’am i’m just doing my job
mrcupcake182 points9m ago
Oh yes almost half the time that happens lol
WingsofFlight2 points9m ago
Or when they start butting into your drink making. "Excuse me, I asked for a Latte." You politely ask a name and awkwardly explain their drink is coming up and that this is someone else's drink.
floofxs214 points9m ago
“hello” as soon as they pull up to DTO, cold foam on hot drinks, steamed lemonade.
FrustratingBears3 points9m ago
god the “HELLO?” grinds my gears
it’s not a phone call
charamander_11 points9m ago
"medicine ball" esp when the person is clearly sick
bubblecumpink6 points9m ago
Coughing and with no mask, oh and they give you cash

“I’m here to pick up a mobile order, i just placed it.” Yup and i *just started it*
iamthegodess12347 points9m ago
When customers order at cafe and check every drink in mobile handoff to see if it’s theirs. Or ask if their drink is ready because they saw somebody behind them got their drink first. Your super complicated drink is not the same as pike with cream and sugar
clouds1836 points9m ago
when customers in drive wait forever to show you which type of payment method they are using
LARVAMOLT6 points9m ago
People who want me to list our entire menu to them at the drive through window so they can order more shit with a line behind them 🫠
WingsofFlight2 points9m ago
People who order a dry Latte or Wet Cappuccino. Please get the opposite drink.
People who argue about drink sizes. And then go "the other Starbucks did it for me." I don't care, they shouldn't be doing it.
"I am allergic to that. Why did you put it on my drink?" One. You never mentioned the allergy, funny enough I can't mind read. Two. I am following a sticker, mistakes happen. Please mention allergies.
I hate when I get shouted at for not knowing how to mind read.
People who see a huge line, join and complain their drink is taking ages. Seriously?
"Excuse me, I ordered a Mocha not a Latte." "This is an Uber drink. May I please ask your name?" "NAME." "Your drink is coming up." "But I have been waiting ten mins."
No, more like two. I saw you walk to the hand off point, the till is next to our bar.
"Can you hurry up. I am late for work."
Why are you here then? How is that my problem? I don't get it? Okay, so when they ordered, they had time I understand that. Mobiles can be delayed. But when they do it in the cafe in person?
